THe Rotary Club of Kingston will be spending $20 million on a facility to be used to educaegrade 5 students about business and the economy. The building, "Junior Achievement (JA) Biztown" will be located at the Ministry of Education's Canewood Centre Complex at 37 Arnold Road, Kingston 5 in St Andrew. The MOE has alreadu commited the use of the building and the land space to be used in the construction of the JA Biztown.Each school year approximatelu 10,000 Grade 5 students will have the chance to visit JA Biztown and the take on the roles of managers, employees and customers of the various businesses. Their trip to he JA Biztown will be the practical learing component after a 5 week in class learning activity focused on teaching them the fundamentals of finance, trade and the world of work.
