Rotarians and their families from the Rotary Club of Kingston (RCOK) turned out in their numbers at the Webster Memorial United Church in Half-Way-Tree on Sunday, January 12, 2014 as the RCOK heralded in the New Year on a spiritual note. President Allison along with several members of the club an their families, welcomed 2014 quite fittingly in the presence of District Governor Jeremy Hurst and his wife Michelle, who were visiting from the Cayman Islands. In bringing greetings on behalf of the Club, President Allison indicated that the 2013-14 theme of Rotary International - "Engage Rotary....change Lives" was in sync with teh Church's theme for the day "Touching lives, Transforming communities". Thereafter she made a donation to the church on behalf of RCOK to Snr Pastor Rev Astor Carlyle who went on to deliver a stirring sermon. Following the church service, RCOK Rotarians and their families were treated to a sunptuous brunch at the Pegasus Hotel hosted by President Allison. A great start to the New Year!!!
