He went on to point out that the excellent turn out of the Diplomatic Corp at the meeting showed the interest they all had interacting with the local community. Fellowship, cooperation and internationalism are important, as it was with the crafting of the United Nations Charter that urged the practice of tolerance and living together for the economic advancement for all peoples. He noted that international cooperation should lay the foundation for the future and encouraged members of the Diplomatic Corp to play a role in making the spirit of cooperation glow in Jamaica.
